It all started with a pair of speakers...
I wanted a pair of speakers for my stereo system but they were much too expensive, so I went to Radio Shack and learned how to build them. The speaker box was a woodworking mess, but they sounded great. I was hooked. I soon built a cabinet for my records and with each build, I developed my skills.
Now I build just about anything: all kinds of tables - dining room tables, occasional tables, and coffee tables - even boats. I repurpose cast iron industrial legs. I reclaim wood when I can. I build pieces for non-profits, like podiums, and donate the cost of labor. I make kitchen islands. I've even built a perch for a cat, even though I'm a dog person.
Want something custom-made like a table for a kitchen nook, a shelf for a special space? Contact me. I'll listen to what you want, draw up plans, and build you a piece that will last for decades.

I know. Not a speaker. Sadly, I don't have a picture of those speakers. I built this podium for a Massachusetts non-profit.
